Although strongly hip hop influenced, SPENTRecords does not limit itself to one genre of music. If the music is good we'll listen. There is no boundaries in music and we do not intend to implement any. Any music that has a good sound can be marketable and ultimately sell records. Here at SPENT Records we aim to please the public but as history has shown time and time again, music that was never popular before is the music that fills the billboard charts today.
We are not afraid to be pioneers of new genres, if we like it that is truly all that matters... We will promote and sell it. We make hip hop that is different than any you have heard. Rock n' Roll is still alive and we want to hear it... Real hip hop is out there still and we will find it. Music is the one thing that cannot be defined or labeled... We oppose to people who try to do that so why should we? Send us your record if you think you want to be a part of.
